Tax-Free Retirement

A tax-free retirement has the power to change your life — and the lives of those around you. The less you pay in taxes, the more you have to devote to the causes you care about most. Of course, when you’ve been conditioned to pay taxes your whole life, you may (understandably) be skeptical about anyone who promises a tax-free world. Luckily, when you work with the right financial advisors, you can start to see what tax-free really looks like, and how you can apply it to your portfolio.

Our proprietary system will demonstrate how you can convert your TAXABLE IRAs, 401(k)s, and 403(b)s to NEVER TAXED income. The system will show how much to convert, what tax you have to pay, and never reduces the value of your accounts. The tax will be paid from the internal conversion. No out-of-pocket funds need to be used for this process.

What Is a Tax-Free Retirement?

A tax-free retirement essentially takes a fine-toothed comb to your assets and looks for ways to either reduce or eliminate your tax burdens. For some clients, that means heavily investing in charitable donations so they can focus their tax dollars on initiatives that are near and dear to their hearts. For others, it means deferring taxes on your most profitable assets, giving you more time and resources to invest in your next big venture.

If you have questions about how to effectively make this happen, the right financial advisor can give you the support you need. More than just filing forms, they explain how different incentives work. As you learn about each regulation (including its limitations), you can start to see how to best structure your portfolio so it benefits your bottom line.

Taxes are more than just confusing for many people; they’re also constantly changing. What benefits you today may actually harm you in a year or two — and you may not always catch the change. Whether it’s local, state, or federal law, a financial advisor can help you navigate each adjustment, so you’re not left holding the wrong end of the stick.

If you’re looking for trusted retirement experts in the Bay Area, the team at Kroeger/Noack Insurance & Financial Services, Inc. is here to help. At a boutique retirement firm, you can learn how to have a tax-free retirement, so you can make the most of your portfolio.

Retirement Income Planning

When people picture their retirement, they may see it more as an abstract thing than a reality. This may explain why, despite the endless books and articles written on retirement, millions of Americans remain unprepared to face the fiscal pressures without a paycheck. With retirement income planning, you can replace that paycheck with steady revenue, but it may take a little oversight to find the right combination for you.

Our clients are worried about their future retirement income. They often ask “Will I run out of money before I run out of breath?”

We offer modern insurance products with built in inflation protection features during the pre-retirement years. When income is elected, these same inflation protection features are applied to guarantee life time income with an increasing income benefit.

What Is Retirement Income Planning?

Retirement income planning simply refers to income that you make during retirement. Most people are aware of the concept, even if they only recognize it through standard security nets like Social Security or pension plans. But because most people don’t work out the answer to “How much do I need to retire?” beforehand, they can end up not having enough money to cover their monthly expenses — which can cause their savings to quickly dwindle.

When you work with financial advisors like the team at Kroeger/Noack Insurance & Financial Services, Inc., you can learn how to plan your retirement income. The goal is to amass as many streams of revenue as possible, so you can fulfill your retirement goals. For some clients, that may mean purchasing real estate. For others, it may mean stepping up their presence in the market.
If you live in the San Francisco area, you already know what it’s like to navigate one of the most expensive economies in the US. When you work with a boutique retirement firm, you can rest assured that you have with a real partner to work through each question — rather than getting passed around every time you have a new question.

Whether you have concerns about inflation or just want to run the numbers, retirement income planning can be the key to protecting your savings. With a financial advisor, you can count on comprehensive advice to give your portfolio the boost you need before you hit retirement age. From taxes to insurance policies, you’ll get everything you need to maximize your bottom line.

Life Insurance

Not long ago, there were thousands of life insurance carriers in the US. Today, the number may be under 1,000, but the reality is that finding a life insurance policy isn’t as simple as going to your neighborhood agency anymore. To make matters worse, not all carriers honor their original promises. Plus, once you find a reputable carrier, you then have to settle on the type of coverage you’re looking for.

If you want to learn more about not just the general jargon that dictates all those clauses and how each policy affects your hard-won portfolio, a financial advisor can tell you more about your best prospects.

How to Choose the Right Life Insurance Policy

The right life insurance policy comes down to more than just the price of the coverage. In fact, many people choose term life insurance because the premiums are often drastically lower than permanent life insurance.

With term life insurance, you have a set expiration date on the policy, usually based on your children’s earning capacity. For example, you might cut off a term policy on your youngest child’s 21st birthday. If you choose permanent insurance, you don’t have to worry about an expiration date, though the premiums are typically higher.

While term insurance is undoubtedly the best option for some people in the Bay Area, there’s more to consider than just your beneficiaries. When some life insurance policies offer a savings component, some policyholders are grateful they have the option to cash out their policies in case of an extreme emergency.

Life insurance is more than a comfort for the people in your life; it can be a comfort for you, too. Whether it’s a much-needed home repair or a medical mishap, some policies are well worth the cost of their coverage.

If you’re looking for a way to protect your wealth without burdening your loved ones, the financial experts at Kroeger/Noack Insurance & Financial Services, Inc. can help you find the coverage you need to keep your bottom line intact.

Long-Term Care

Most of us will need some form of Long-Term Care assistance. The care could be delivered at home or a Long term Care facility. Everyone knows it is expensive.

If you are in your 50’s or 60’s, you could purchase a Long-Term Care Insurance product and you can probably pay for it and qualify for it medically. At older ages this might not be possible. The same insurance product you bought for income has a Long Term Care benefit built right into it. You don’t have to pay for it or qualify for it medically.

Like personally owned LTC Insurance, you qualify for benefits if you can’t do 2 out of the 6 activities of daily living.

What Is Long-Term Care?

The best way to think of long-term care is as a supplement to your health insurance. So instead of covering doctor’s appointments or surgical treatments, it covers the additional help you need if you’re unable to perform basic tasks. If you need a home aide to cook and meal-plan for you once a week, you don’t have to pay for this expense out of pocket.
Long-term care can provide substantial long-term savings. In fact, one study showed that people with long-term care insurance spent about six times less after a major illness or injury than those without. Plus, some offer a savings component, ensuring that you can still get value out of the policy if you never end up using it. Of course, there’s another side to long-term care insurance, one that a financial advisor can help you understand before you sign up for the wrong plan with the wrong carrier.

Because long-term care is an expensive undertaking, whether you hire personal help or have to stay in a nursing home, the policy costs can be substantial. In addition, some carriers have been known to skirt their responsibilities on technicalities — and that’s if they offer the coverage to begin with.

If you have questions about long-term care insurance, especially if you have a chronic condition or a concerning family history, the retirement experts at Kroeger/Noack Insurance & Financial Services, Inc. can help you navigate the sea of jargon so you understand what you’re really signing on for. The reality is that not everyone should get a long-term care policy, but you should at least discuss the benefits and coverage before you rule it out.
